If the Convention Center Rates were reduced would it bring more conventions to San Francisco?
In these difficult economic times I think we should consider reducing the rates on the Moscone Convention Center in order to bring back and attract new conventions to this wonderful city. The positive benefits of creating more tax revenue for the city through increased business at restaurants, bars, hotels, taxi services and other sources would help the city while also helping business owners and employees. The citizens who work at the restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. would benefit through added income earned during convention events, and businesses would earn extra profits as well. It sure seems like a “Win Win” all the way around. Please share your thoughts with me on this by leaving a comment.
